"Accommodating Hydraulic Resistance Circuit Training"
The Impact system is smooth hydraulic resistance that adjusts to your fitness level. There is no equipment to adjust, lift or drop. The number of reps you do is determined by your own personal ability. The stronger you become, the faster you become. Unlike most competitors, our equipment IS ADJUSTABLE so you do not hit a plateau. Since there is no "negative resistance", you will not have sore muscles. This workout also provides little to no stress on the bones and joints. We are also happy to provide a letter for your Doctor with your name and an explanation of the workout incase he or your insurance will reccommend or provide financial assistance with your membership fees as this is extremely theraputic for many health reasons! | "Cardio Health"
Because the Impact System combines resistance and continual aerobic/cardio exercise for 30 minutes, you will greatly benefit your cardio health! Our dynamic Impact System is based on a "work/recover/work/recover" system. Each piece of equipment works 3-4 different muscle groups, then you recover at a "station". In between the equipment pieces are "recovery stations". Most fitness centers only have a designated square where you jog on the floor surface. At Impact, we offer many different choices!Why, you ask? Because "WE ARE ALL ABOUT YOU!" You may ride the bicycle,use the aerobic step or jog slower or faster at a cushioned, well manufactured jogging board to maintain your "target heart rate".
| "Target Heart Rate Zone"
A vital part of the Impact System is to workout within your "zone". It has been clinically and scientifically proven that the body burns more fat, builds more lean muscle mass, increases and maintains better metabolism IF you workout within your target heart rate zone for at least 20 minutes. At Impact, you never have to stop your workout to find your pulse, calculate it while watching a wall clock, while you're dropping down out of your "zone", as we provide fast, convenient hand held heart rate monitors to do this for you. One should always workout at a level they feel comfortable with, for some, perhaps striving to achieve a personal goal of working within the target zone while for others this is quickly accomplished. Regardless, this workout adjust to you whatever your fitness level!
